MySellingMate is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what we process, why, and the choices you have.

What we process When you scan an item, the photos you take are sent to third party AI providers so we can identify the object and estimate its resale price. Identification is handled by OpenAI, and price research is handled by Perplexity. We send only the photos and the item details needed for these two tasks. Where your data lives Your scan history and the photos you keep are stored locally on your iPhone. We do not host your library on our servers. There is no account to create, and we do not track you across apps or run advertising analytics. The AI providers OpenAI and Perplexity process your photos and item details solely to return an identification and a price estimate to the app. Their handling of that data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not use your photos to train our own models. Your choices You can delete any scan, or wipe everything at once, from inside the app at any time. Deleting your data also clears the related photos from your device. Because your history lives on your device, removing the app removes your data with it. Contact Questions about privacy?
